Hi, I’m Henry.

My story

Understand the problem. Then build something that works.

I spent my career in software engineering, which isn’t the usual road into home improvement. But engineering teaches you not to guess. You understand the problem first, then build something that works. That’s the same approach I bring into your home.

A family once needed blinds installed before school started. I measured before drilling—and discovered that no two windows matched. The boxed blinds they had already purchased wouldn’t fit a single opening. Custom blinds meant weeks of waiting and hundreds of unplanned dollars, so I resized the ones they owned, window by window. They stayed within budget and finished unpacking on time.

That’s how I approach every job: measure first, explain the options, and agree on the price before work begins. No surprises on the invoice.

Task Menders started in my own house. Then a neighbor asked for help. Then their friends did. Five years and more than 200 projects later, here we are.

My favorite moment isn’t seeing the finished work. It’s hearing, “Actually, I’ve got another project for you.”

And the person who shows up is me—every time.
